Meet The Maker:
Kaliesha is a small flower farmer & seasonal florist living in Guelph, Ontario. Following a long time calling, Kaliesha started working at a local flower shop in the fall of 2015. As someone passionate about sustainability, Kaliesha soon started growing her own flowers at Ignatius Farm in 2017 with a friend & selling her bouquets at a local business. In 2018, as her first year solo, she expanded to selling at a bakery & also proving the flower add on for a local vegetable CSA. Word soon travelled & this led to regular bouquet orders, as well as special orders for floral wreaths, flower crowns, weddings & funerals.
Since 2021 Kaliesha has been growing at a local horse boarding farm in the Guelph Lake area & has been offering her own direct organically grown flower CSA. This year she hopes to explore other retail avenues as she continues to tend to her growing spaces.
